This globe is made up of one spherical geodesic globe nested inside another one. The globes themselves carry power to each LED node, so the only visible wiring is down from the canopy. Each globe is made up of 270 individual straps that are bolted together at each LED node. The end result is mesmerizing in its complex geometry presenting as a simple shape.
